YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY
Before his time with Southern, Chance interned with a subcontractor at Y-12 working on a new Uranium Processing Facility and worked on the largest tile manufacturing facility in the state of Tennessee. As a project engineer, Chance assists and shadows Project Managers on a variety of jobs. His duties include site visits and correspondence with supervisors, procuring quotes and coordinating equipment and materials, tracking quantities, organizing traffic control setup, and managing utility one calls. Chance served as treasurer and vice president of Theta Chi fraternity Kappa Omicron Chapter while at UT and he is OSHA 10 and 30 Construction Safety certified.
