About Gatlinburg Wastewater Treatment Plant
This project consisted of a complete overhaul and replacement of existing treatment systems, plus implementation of some new systems for added redundancy. The project included provision and installation of new influent pumps and new influent drum screens, conversion of existing activated sludge aeration basins to a new IFAS treatment system including instrumentation and controls, a new turbo blower system, new rotary drum thickeners, new centrifuges, new effluent disc filters, a new UV disinfection system, replacement of existing plant yard piping, a new plant water booster pump system with distribution piping, and various related appurtenant items at the Gatlinburg Wastewater Treatment Plant. Completion included all excavation, grading, and finish work.
